buying characters with coins in origin ? and enable gifting ?

Deal all, 

I think it would be a good fit for the game, gifting your friends Coins and characters, I know you can buy from Origin and give it to your friend (only characters), but why can't I give them characters and coins ? Or at least battlepass? 

what do you think about it guys ? is it worth it ?
