Will my steam progress be on my origin account as well? (Apex Legends)

I want to try and play Apex on Origin instead of Steam and want to know if my progress on Steam will cross over to Origin. I know it does the other way around but I want to know if it's the same before I do anything.

Yes! However I do believe that progress you've made on either platform will take some time to transfer to the other.

Please note that this feature is currently exclusive to Steam and Origin: you cannot carry your Steam or Origin account progress to the consoles or vice versa.

@MommyMakimaRizz When you are on steam, your progress is retrieved from your EA account and Origin uses the same one too. Not applicable for consoles tho.

I have seen some streamers switch from steam to Origin when steam was down and continue playing. So you are good to go.
