Why isn't patch 1.06 working for me?

Patch 1.06 has supposedly been released, but when I play the game to test it out have absolutely nothing changed! SAM still reminds of me of my non-existent email and everything else still looks exactly the same. Yet, no one else seems to have this problem, so can anyone please help me?!

In Origin click on the cog near the play button and press on "Update Game".

If you're on console make sure you close the game down and choose to check for updates from the game management Window. If you have the 1.06 update there you'll see it on the bottom left of the title screen.
