Why does this game not allow for proper social interactions?

Mind you I'm not talking about the terrible Origin interface that is backwards beyond repair but the fact that you can't send an enemy a friend request.

You're like "Huh, good shot wanna join up?" only to realise the hoops you have to jump through...

I agree, given the emphasis on the "team" aspect of Apex, it makes one wonder why there is no in-game friend system similar to how Blizzard has Battletag.

I agree fully it is very difficult to have friends join in Origin unlike the ease of ps4. I don't see my invites in a notification while playing or vice versa. Only EA employees can do that from what I read in another post. Having a friends list in Origin isn't much use in the current state.
