Sims 4 will not launch in the EA app for some reason

I am unable to launch Sims 4. I keep getting this message that says the app couldn't read the games license file, so we suggest relaunching the game in online mode.If the problem continues try clearing your cache. I  have cleared the cache. I have no idea why the app couldn't read the games license file and I have no idea where I can find out if the game is in online mode. I am very frustrated and I could use some help figuring out why I am getting this error message and what i can do to solve the issue.

Many of my purchases are getting removed from my account. In the EA app,  I have a notification that some of them were removed because my EA Play membership has ended.

Yes, I was subscribed to EA play, but I had also bought many games. Some of them were free, some of them I paid for.

Here a re a few of the games getting removed that I payed for. These total for around 130$ of purchases. They are still listed in my order history.

* Mirror's Edge Catalyst

* Battlefield V

* Star Wars Battlefront (Classic)

* Star Wars Battlefront I Ultimate

* Star Wars Battlefront II

* Star Wars The Force Unleashed

* Star Wars The Force Unleashed II

There are a few free purchases that haven't been listed above that have been removed as well.

It is unacceptable that my purchases have gone away. I can't help but feel like I'm getting ripped off by EA.

I found a really good way to fix all my EA issues, never buy an EA game again, because their support for customers like is totally usless.

Since stopping buying games from EA about two years ago I have experienced no unfinished buggy games where I feel like a beta tester and no awful support for something I have paid for.

I am having the same issue, all of my Witcher games, Mass Effect and Dragon age games are missing.  All were paid for and not part of EA Play.

I think they do this on purpose to annoy their customers.

I also have a 2nd problem with the EA app not loading on cold boot this also isnt getting fixed.

Hello, Crysis 3 and Titanfall 2 have been completely removed from my library with all my dlcs for unlisted reasons, I kinda wanna play those games again even for singleplayer, why were they removed from my account?

For me there have been several games removed for no reason too with the same error!

Issue: Removed games by me(I am sure I never did that as, as  far as I know it isnt possible... Also why wouldl I? As I could just let it root if didn't like it, no point to remove a paid game)

Question about ownership: Did I ever bought said games? (sorry 2020 is too far back,,, and I own far too many games within all platforms to remember 2)

I didn't paid too much attention to this message before as I seldom go to the Library( no need as I just launch the game throw their shortcuts) and I just noticed it today.

As for working methods: I tried to Clear Cache((throw Help-->APP recoverym didnt help, reinstailed the app and didnt help neither, booted the pc 2 times after clearing the PC memory cache and didnt help neither so, what's happening?

Issue-Sims 3 showtime removed from my library. No message, just wants me to repurchase. I still have the preorder invoice from the physical copy I bought  (preordered dec 2011 for release in 2012) 

Bought a new PC and the new EA app shows I never owned it, except the old PC had EA app and I played it literally last month. I also had it on origin. All my games I bought physical copies for I put in the codes into origin and EA app. Customer service are telling me I have to contact amazon for a refund for a game I bought 13 years ago that EA still sells. Its absurd.
