I haven't logged into the EA app for a long time, and then I logged in and saw 2 identical messages that a certain quest_item was removed. What kind of quest item is this for which game? Maybe it's the Signature Edition content for Dragon Age 2? I don't have it, although in theory it was given out to everyone 2 years ago. The information is empty. Just technically written text. In my personal account on the EA website, in the Orders section, there are also only these two quest items without any details.

This worked for me. I too logged in to the EA App after a long time, back when it was still Origin was the last time I logged in I believe. This was probably a side effect of the migration from Origin to EA App.
Going to the EA website and logging in and going to account settings (which takes you to myaccount.ea) then to order history. Then make sure to select All Status and All, it'll take a minute or so to load if you've had the account for a long time and made purchases 5-6+ years ago. After it loads it all up log out of your desktop app and log back in. It should have reloaded all the purchases you've made onto your library.
The only thing that this wouldn't fix is if the game was removed from their catalogue entirely due to them losing the rights to carry a game or something extreme like that.

@ Luiin,
Good post. I vaguely remember doing similar when switching from Origin. The main thing I remember was that it was pretty easy, but I did as you mention go into my EA account page.
Your post should help others who have not yet switched over (from Origin to EA App)

I noticed it too just now when I went to install an older game and noticed a lot of games are missing, a couple months ago or so I got an error saying EA Play expired which removed a lot of my games I BOUGHT from my library and the fact that I haven't used EA Play since maybe 2018 when trying out Battlefield V. Now when I go and restore games i had it sends me to the store page where i Have to buy it again, such a strange occurance. My NHL 09 asks for a CD key now, never needed one before.

Hello,
Since some time this message pops up in my ea-app. I thought I would still "own" the games. But after visiting the game hub for the late night expansion pack to redownload it, it says I have to rebuy it. Same as for the other games. Anyone know how I can fix this or what steps I need to take to get my games back?
kind regards "MiiBmBm" Lisa

why is EA such crock of a company.
After moving to ea app they removed games purchased by people during the night without prior notice or reason.
Sunday
It all started with My Sim's 3 game in the EA App not letting Me update or download anything due to this Error Message which basically say's That I don't own My Pack when I do.
Error Message > (Game ownership disabled or deleted.
We've paused the download because you don't own this title.
You can cancel the download, keep it paused, or visit the game hub for more option's.
Now I had to go through 6 Agent's in EA Help in order to Fix My Sims 3 game, And only the Last Agent was the one who fixed it.
Now I went to try and Update My Sim's 4 game, But the EA App gave me the same Error message that the update was paused cause I don't own My pack.
I have now gone through 3 more Agent's in the EA Help only for the last one to tell me that I had to come to the Forum pages, cause nothing they had me do worked.
My Case # 200095198.
I wish someone could help me Fix My Sims 4 like (Rikanshu) did for My Sims 3 game (was a god send).
I also noticed that My Sim's 4 game in the EA App does not give me the option to uninstall My game like one of them wanted me to do, I am so not happy that they even want me to do that.
Sunday
My Problem was in my Sims 3 game which has been fixed.
(But) now the problem is now in My Sims 4 game which is I get this error message when trying to do the update for Sims 4.
Error message> (Game ownership disabled or deleted.
We've paused the download because you don't own this title.
You can cancel the download, keep it paused, or visit the game hub for more option's).
I have been on the EA Help page and did everything they wanted me to do, they are the ones who sent me here to the forums pages.
My PC is a windows 10 desktop, Microsoft Edge.
Case # 200095198.
I have cleaned the EA App Cache like 5 to 7 times, Uninstalled/reinstalled EA App like 4 times, Cleaned out the Temp folder.
I also do not have the option in My EA App to uninstall the Sims 4 game pack. (option button not there) , But I really would prefer not to uninstall all those packs.

Hi there,
So after talking with 4 different advisors and being told they repaired it and to come post here, here I am.
"Fixes" I've tried:
Any help that's not the same troubleshooting guides would be awesome. Thanks.
New name, new look, same great benefits: EA Access and Origin Access are now EA Play.
