Why do you still see DLCs for Battlefront which do not work online or offline?

I have purchased through Origin the Season Pass for Battlefront at discount for Xmas 2018 because it was proactively advertised as being discounted. I now find the DLCs are unsupported both online and offline by EA. I could accept that the online would die out but to sell the DLCs knowing they are essentially useless to the purchaser is contemptable. Is this to be rectified or is this what is to be expected from EA/Origin, establishments one would expect to be reputable and above such deceptions.

The Season Pass for Battlefront enables you to access post launch Multiplayer content. You should be able to queue up for additional games and new maps that were added post-launch.
