Why I die easily?

Why I die easily? And the maximum kills I have per game is only 1-2 kills? The maps are all too big and enemies are too scattered to be shot with a shotgun...

Please add a bullet proof vest or other similar options to extend playing time... and I didn't see any shotgun weapons to use... thanks

@dirdar If you play as a Specialist like Angel or Irish then you will have armour (Angel can also resupply this), and there's also an armour plate gadget too. There are shotguns in the game too - they're on the very right when you're selecting weapons.

Don’t run around in the open with a shotgun - defend buildings

Use ARs, SMGs, or LMGs to run and gun

Use spotting devices (proxy balls, sentry guns, Paik) and keep one eye on your minimap

Use cover and concealment (including smoke) to your advantage
