Where is the communication?!?

★★★★ Pro

I play Apex since season 1 and have always had a good communication-culture with my mates (even with randoms).
We exchanged informations about the server performance, about the number of enemies pushing us, if someone was one-shot...things like that. How it should be, imo.

During the last season I started to realize, that people somehow had stopped communicating.

When playing Lockdown or Control, I usually like to give instructions, to ask questions (how many enemies at "B"? etc) - via voice-channel or via text message.
No reaction at all!

Same disaster during the currently active revival mode: Not one single word is spoken or written during the match.
My questions stay unanswered.

It´s getting worse and worse.

I´m not used to play like that since Apex has always been a team-based-shooter to me.

I understand what you are saying.

When I play with friends it is not a problem.

When I solo Q it is hit and miss with comms. We as players can only try to do our best using the comms, we cant change how others use or do not use comms.

The needs of the many,
outweigh the needs of the few or one. --Spock--

@W3stminst3r I mostly solo queue and mute my squad and my mic by default. People are so toxic and weird it's just not worth it to risk listening to the crap people spew. Just how it is with multi-player online games.

True! I also used to mute my randoms because of their toxic behaviour.
But sometimes it is quite useful to communicate. Standard smile
