I believe the flow of the games should be better when they fix the proximity mines, that’s if they nerf them properly, right now the game plays as a constant UAV, you can’t really get the jump on people because there’s proximity in every area clustered with players it’s literally a constant advance UAV it makes the games tedious and completely noob friendly, the mines should only be activated for a certain amount of pulses or the radius should be extremely reduced to meters, Rn it seems as if it’s radius is 50 meters or slightly more.

oh, I like this suggestion ^^

 

I personally would remove the proximity sensor but reducing the pulse to one or two maybe three should be enough for an encounter on the flag^^

 

And then Casper’s drone is useful again ^^

There is an extremely simple solution to this. Only allow the proximity ball to be equipped if you have a sniper rifle selected as your main weapon. 2 birds with one stone here because snipers will be forced into the action more and also the constant spam of prox sensors by everyone around the objectives will stop immediately. 

 

As it is the mini-map may as well just permanently show everyone's location because there is so many sensors on the ground.

This is another example of the Specialist system creating imbalance.   Along with the 3d spotting not working like in did other BF titles.

 

In BF4 the proximity sensor was restricted to the Recon class. In BF2042 everybody can have it and they use it because spotting is a joke. 

When equipment is not restricted to players you will end up with more of it than was probability intended and it's creating a balance issue. 

 

If BF2042 had classes and the restrictions like BF4, I don't like you would be having the problems you see with too many of 1 type of gun or equipment being used.

Same with the vehicles, why are all the same vehicles available on every map?
