When ea refunds an dlc, does it immediately get deleted from your game?

I was told by a chat agent that my expansion pack on the sims 4 was refunded and after I had checked my sims game but the pack was still there. I'm new to the refunding process and have no idea if it's supposed to be there. Please help.

@_oyourm Hey, there can be a delay but it's normally a pretty short one. Taking a look at your account it looks like the DLC content was removed, are you able to still see it?
