How do you stop the puck from going through you or your stick when blocking a pass or shot? How does one stick lift a players stick from behind a couple feet and opposite side of where they're protecting the puck? How do you pick up the puck rather than skating right over it and not even reach for the puck? Why is it when I'm right in front of a player defending and they shoot or pass, the puck magically gets by me 95% of the time, while 95% of the time my shot or pass gets blocked by a defender that's in the same position I was when I was trying to block? How can players with the puck skate faster than non puck carriers? How come when I poke the puck away from a skater or check them the puck goes directly to their next skater? How come when I get in the zone and barely get touched by the defender I lose the puck directly to their player? What am I doing wrong? Why is it even an option to pass the puck directly to the opposition? Why does this game stick it to me in the arse 90% of the time?
