What (exactly) are origin points?

Just a way to quickly measure someones "progress" in a particular game or overall. They have no other value, nothing can be bought or gained with them.

well i play my sims games often & have never gotten origin points,..

Hey @Manx_Butterfly,

This thread is quite a few years old and is being locked here to avoid necroposting.

As mentioned above, Origin points are purely for bragging rights and won't appear if the game didn't implement achievements in Origin.

You should be able to check for an Achievements tab under the Play button in Origin to see if a game includes achievements/Origin points, though this doesn't seem to be the case for Sims 4.
