What I have found for myself and friends to fix the crashing

★ Apprentice

My PC Specs:

i7 6700k

asus strix 390x

16gb ram

75 hz monitor

Antivirus: Malware-bytes Premium

I am using the latest 19.2.2 driver nvidia users should use the 417.xx driver

I have to set my virtual memory to system managed... be4 the change i was getting virtual memory errors

If u have an ssd, windows 10 ssd driver maybe be crashing your game I had to uninstall the IDE ATA/AHCI driver in device manager now it says Standard SATA AHCI controller and it works fine now

I have to turn of v-sync the game would say 75 fps with it on but played like i was at 20 with it uncapped its at 150 ish and plays normally

Add everything Apex and Origin relevant to windows firewall adding it folder exclusions to malware-bytes may help aswell

also add the anti cheat program itself to the firewall

now i play with no crashes friends dont crash still experience the lobby que thing usually 1 of us is bugged and leaves party and rejoins and the game works

hope this helps

Thanks for taking the time to share what worked for you @x-Loci-x .

To cap your frame rate.

  • Go to origin->game library->right click on Apex ->Game properties->advanced->and put in Command line arguments: +fps_max 100. (You can try setting it lower too (90, 80, etc.)
