Name one feature you'd like to see added to Origin
Not sure right now
Name one existing feature that you would like to see improved on Origin
Well, there are no suggestions currently. Origin in-game overlay. It sometimes somewhat struggles to co-operate with games.

Hi gang!
Thanks for having me! It's a bit overwhelming for me right now (hard to keep track of fora) but yeah, figured I should introduce myself here as well. Shame that we can't use custom avatars though (not complaining!) but I'm happy to have found this place. However.. I'm a "Steamer" first and foremost, so yah. Cannot guarantee full activity over here, Steam prevails for me. And for the record: being well aware to be responding to a 5 year old thread that is still active today? Consider me impressed.
I'm a guy from the Netherlands (Europe) who got really interested in NFL football. Soccer is the national sports over here in my country and yet with all due respect (<= seriously!) it's just not for me. When I finally learned more about the rules of NFL football and then saw my first game I was hooked (and sinkered). Madden '22 followed soon after and that was the beginning of the end Pre-ordering Madden '23 "all-Madden" edition sealed the deal. I'm having the time of my life with all this stuff...
How I got into football? Thanks to no other than Al "four touchdowns in a single game" Bundy from the "Married with Children" sitcom, I loved that series.
So yah, my favorite EA game is obviously Madden, that's how I got rolled into this in the first place but... Now that I am on the official EA forums... Strike Fleet:
Now sure, this is from the Vice C64 emulator but the thing is: the reason I know and still play this game is because I owned & played this back in the days on my C64. This was one of my all-time favorites. Because the simulation aspect was real... you could honestly be spending 5 or so minutes doing nothing but scanning, it wasn't just about all out warfare but also a large dose of roleplay... I loved this game.
If anyone knows if this title got a recent follow-up I'm all ears by the way!
But for me it's all about Madden... I really got interested in NFL football and Madden just fits like a glove.
As for my funniest game moment: getting hold of the ball during an interception yet for some reason not realizing that the turn-around was for my own good. So I took the ball and ran backwards and when nothing happened in the end zone I recalled Al always throwing the ball down so obviously that was what I had to do. I threw away the ball (no touchdown) and the opposing team quickly flew in, grabbed it and scored.
I still had a lot to learn back then.
But omg you guys: the atmosphere. I hope this isn't too offtopic: I play WWE 2k22 as well, in fact I played a lot of WWE titles over the past 10 years (now also referring to my PS3). Why did the Madden '22 commentators manage to pick up on my above action with ruthless detail and go on about "I've never seen that before" (more or less) followed by: "Yeah, I have no idea what they were going for here".
Back to offtopic 2k22 for a moment: it's so static! One wrestler beating the other through a mere bodyslam (which is pretty much the most basic move in the entire industry).... the commentators don't pick up on the idiocy at all.
But they somehow manage to do so in Madden '22 (and '23)!!
I'm here because of Madden '23 which - for me - is one of my best sporting games. You guys (= EA) definitely managed to drop the ball big time IMO by not updating the agenda but even then I had an awesome time.
One last small offtopic comment: I pre-ordered Madden '23 ("All-Madden" edition). I also grabbed the full "NWO4Life" version of WWE 2k22. I have a lot of respect for both games but... I still cannot help but mention that when it comes to Ultimate Team (and My Faction in retrospect) I cannot help but conclude that - in my opinion - I got way more value out of my "excessive purchase" for Madden than I did with 2k22... I got frickin' Tom Brady as my UT QB for crying out loud!
My WWE 2k22 faction however.. nope!
My UT beat the Dolphins! My 2k22 faction got creamed and I was met with suggestions to buy into my expansions.
Gee... I wonder how I ended up uninstalling 2k22 🙄
Thanks for reading, thanks for having me!
