I thought of an idea.
If there are Weapon Assignments in Battlefield V, there should be two options:
1. You can complete the Assignments to unlock the weapons for each Class.
2. You can grind each individual Class Rank (Assault, Medic, Support, Recon), to unlock the weapons at a certain Rank Level.
This way, you can either get the weapon faster by completing the Assignments, or you can get them by ranking up your Class Level, like the basic weapons in the beginning of Battlefield 1.
It could be for those that like the Challenge, and for those that just want to play the game and simply unlock them.
