We need the OG Scoreboard

i don't know if anyone like the new scoreboard but it was the cause for many of my friends to leave 2042, we always had that way to play where we compete for the first place in conquest, it's fun and makes us play objective, i understand that dice wanted us to play more as a team but sometimes (almost all the times) while playing solo you can get in a completely messy squad and that way you can become superman but you will always still be the last.

don't get me wrong the game is still fun but for me and for many the old scoreboard was a part of the battlefield experience specially in conquest.

Another thing, with what we have we could never spot cheaters how are we supposed to report them then?

The new scoreboard probably exists because 128 players were a focus. You can't show that many names vertically.

They should return to the old one, and then only show the top 32-40 players on each team, or make scrollbar or 2nd page for the rest. No-one cares about the bottom anyway.

They should also remove intro videos (or only play them once per map, per player). And the cringe top 3 after every match too. Especially the voice emotes.

@DzDegdag I'm not missing the scoreboard as much as I thought I would. It's actually refreshing in a way as I'm less fixated on my performance in this game compared to previous ones, where I'd frequently check the scoreboard. However, that's just me and I know a lot of people would be incredibly happy for the older style one to come back.

On a personal note I wish the new one didn't show deaths. That's another reason why I don't check it all that much lol

@ElliotLH lol, yes this is a positive thing about the actual scoreboard no k/d, but what interested me in the old one was never kills nor deaths but the score it self, i used to play as a medic kill 11 die 21 but still be the first in the game, that gave me so much fun knowing that even if my aim was trash during that game i still made a difference by helping my teammates, so they could make a scoreboard with just individual score, kills .... With no death

@DzDegdag Fully agree that seeing your score compared to others was handy. Like you say, even if you're having a bad game KD-wise you could still be at the top by playing your role. It was also handy seeing how many of each class you had, so you could plug a gap, but that's not as workable with Specialists.

@DzDegdagFor 15 years I played with a scoreboard on various FPS games. The last 3 years I played a survival/fps game with nothing.
Never missed not having one. Other than post match break time there not much use for one. I look for win/ lost score and can see what I done in game stat wise in this game.
All about letting go imo.
