@CantGetRight Funny that they said "Something that should have been simple is proving to be quite complex". How the hell can it be complex? If the problem was XP farming servers in Portal, why not just not allow the health settings to be set below a certain point or not allow it to be changed at all? Since that was what those people were doing, right? They punished a TON of players both on Portal and Solo/Co-Op that should not have been punished.

Folks should do themselves a favor and follow folks like this fella (Justin Weibe) for Portal news and others like Marcus Lehto for BF2042 insight.  With the lack of official communication from EA / DICE, this is what I rely on to know what's going on with the game.  .......I got the above news this morning when I checked Twitter.

I don't either except for gaming news.  I also used it when I was trying to acquire a PS5.  .....made a huge difference as I would get real-time notifications of drops, etc.  

I follow all sorts of sources for game information on there.

What I don't understand so correct me if I am wrong but if people hate the specialist so much why not make a Portal game mode with BF3 or BFBC2 classes in AOW maps?  I made one in less than 2 minutes.  Or is that too easy and people still want to complain?

Why not refund the players dissatisfied battlefield 2042? What’s so difficult about that? I’m not sure but apparently it is. Im sure what your saying is true but those are incomplete games and just a small game mode. Did we all pay 100$ for portal playing parts of old games? No we paid for battlefield 2042 which isn’t holding up to a true battlefield game standards. People complain because it should be better and games are becoming worse and worse. Gaming Companies still don’t realize a complete polished product will always bring you the most return in the end. I will say Covid probably did play a role in the development process, but this should have been noticed and the game delayed.

The reality is, no matter what they do now by the time they provide the fixes the game will be long gone along with my 100 dollars. The best way to deal with Dice and EA is to never buy their games.
