Unbalanced Matchmaking. Solo, duo vs trio

★ Apprentice

One thing I've noticed about Apex is the unbalanced matchmaking system. Especially if you're a rookie.

Join solo: Balanced.

Join with a friend duo: Balanced.

Join with 2 friends as full squad: It's messed up. Full of hardcore "aimbotting" pros with fully specced legendaries before they land ^^

Why does trio differ so much from the other two?

Well, as far as I know, there are two queues.

Full squad and not full squad.

Full squads are matched against other full squads.

Solo and duos are matched together.

I suppose it follows that you will encounter a higher level of play against full squads. Thinking

probably this ^    and because most people don't queue with full squads.

I wouldn't mind waiting 1 or 2 mins in a queue for a better matchmaker.  I think  all the pre-empted complaints on forums about queue times and matchmaker has respawn paranoid.  So they implemented some basic mm secretly and are afraid to have anyone wait for any length of time to queue.
