Twitch Prime Rewards

Yes I was wondering if I don't have the characters yet would the skins still be usable if they are unlocked after the twitch prime event? I have my accounts linked up and they say claimed however, I didn't receive any notifications once I loaded up the game on Xbox? So does anyone know how it would work? Do I just miss out even though twitch prime site says claimed?

If you claim Twitch loot on a Legend that has not yet been unlocked, then the Twitch loot item will go in your Legend's inventory and sit there waiting to be used until you unlock that Legend.
