Great news! 

Once i updated the supported games in TrackIR, it worked fine.

Indeed important to always update the supported game list! Trackir in star wars Squadrons now works just as great here as in A. o. DCS and IL - 2 GB and the unfortunately abandoned Eve Valkyrie Warzone titles.
