Finally beat it as peashooter! Final scoreline was 50:49.

My strategy was to immediately set up at one end of the central corridor and mow down as many zombies as I could early in the game, then stick close to my team, avoid engaging groups of zombies in close quarters combat, and use my gatling whenever possible.

@ToastedSarnie For me none so far did get out ahead by a few with the pea but after they scored 20 or more it's pretty much over I gave up on it til it's toned down. Which sucks I have the battle chests completed for the zombie side and it was much easier

Agreed - v.tough challenge...after about 30 tries I finally won 50-47 with Nightcap, mostly centred around the statue...I was only doing the challenge to gain bulbs in the main character challenge so it was a bonus to complete the battle chests at the same time...didn't expect to achieve it with Nightcap having mostly used Acorn/Oak and Peashooter...sometimes a challenge needs to be a CHALLENGE and not just checking forums/netfo...keep battling & good luck, MM
