The Best Apex Legends Settings!

★★★★★ Novice

Hey everyone

Just wanted to let you know of my research on how to get the best settings and keybinds in Apex Legends! I recognize a lot is up to personal preference, but there is still a lot of inspiration to get here.

So this is my sources of inspiration:

Best Apex Legends Settings for increased performance

Apex Legends: The Best Settings & Keybinds

Also looked at Shroud's settings, since he seems to be pretty good at the game

Ok, so if you want the highest possible frame rates, you should lower your graphics settings as much as possible (without it hurting your eyes too much :D ), since this will naturally increase your FPS.

Example:

Display ModeFullscreen
Resolution1920×1080 (native)
Aspect Ratio16:9 (native)
Field of View104
Color Blind ModeOff
V-SyncDisabled
Adaptive Resolution FPS0
Anti-AliasingNone
Texture Streaming BudgetInsane (8GB VRAM)
Texture FilteringAnisotropic 4X
Ambient Occlusion QualityDisabled
Sun Shadow CoverageLow
Sun Shadow DetailLow
Spot Shadow DetailDisabled
Volumetric LightingDisabled
Dynamic Spot ShadowsDisabled
Model DetailHigh
Effects DetailLow
Impact MarksLow
RagdollsLow

I recommend that you have a DPI around 400 - 800 since this seems to be consensus among pro players. Sensitivity should in general be low, so you can aim more precisely. Get a large mousepad and get those arms moving Wink

Ok, I hope you find this guide useful.

I would like to note that I have a 240 Hz monitor and that is why I put graphics so low, so I can consistently get high FPS. I think that is the same reason Shroud has low graphics.

Why do you believe that reduced input lag is more important than frame rates?

Both are pretty important, although I'd rather have lower framerate than more input lag. Fortunately you can have both high FPS and low input lag!

I just wanted to ask, what's better Model Detail on Low or High? Cos i see shroud use's High but dizzy uses low

I mean for my gameplay, not for my fps coz i already got high fps

If you already got good FPS it will mainly change the visual aspect of the textures of models. For example the skins might go from amazing to very pixelated, read more here: https://www.gamingfeature.com/best-settings-for-apex-legends/ Some competitive gamers prefer that look as it will give less distraction.

Yep, these settings are on point. I always like to take a look at some of the pro settings and mix and match what they are using.

I'm currently rocking Shrouds settings and no regrets yet.
