Teammate Quit in Ranked, No Loss Forgiveness [ Edited ]

A lvl 64 Lifeline quit as soon as I picked up their banner. We died a few minutes later. No loss forgiveness was given. Is this another change I missed or was this a glitch?

@Lord_Scorpion34 You only get loss forgiveness if you started the game with one less teammate (they didn’t load at all). I might be wrong though since I mostly play with a premade and if I play solo, luckily no one insta quits.

@Cheese9Man no, you're correct. You only get loss forgiveness (LF) if you start out with only 2 players. If you have 3 and 1 dc's, then you're screwed one teammate with no loss forgiveness. IMO, there should still be LF if somebody dc's. It's not fair for the other teammates. Not sure what the parameters should be but maybe until we land. If somebody dc's before then, we should get LF.

@Lord_Scorpion34 are you sure?? Seriously, I've never gotten LF in those sitautions. I've had TM's DC on the way down from the dropship and didn't get LF. I also recall having 2 other teammates on the legend select screen, and one disappeared before we jumped off the ship and still didn't get LF.

Maybe you died too close to their disconnect? Like, it takes some time to count?

I don't know, I don't play ranked for exactly these reasons.
