Key points:
1. Usual trio squad
2. Some sort of loadouts either provided by the game, or chances of 'creating your own'
3. Best of three rounds probably
4. Code suggests the ring does move in this mode too
5. Will be played on small part of map(POI) like Octane's Gauntlet or Artillery
6. No weapon/shield spawn, only attachments and such. Code suggests care package drops too
7. From what could be gathered from the code, it's going to be a permanent mode as it has dedicated ui slots like pubs/ranked
I have been saying this(and many others) from the start, we need some sort of TDM for warmup/fun when you are bored of third-party and loot goblin teammates. Respawn has already suggested that in future Apex will be 'more than a battle royale', so this isn't some wild speculation.
I wish arena mode could be available by next season. I am bored of Apex atm, and anything other than battle Royale is welcome on my part.
