October 2021
There has been a fan-favourite Star Wars series which sadly never got continuity after 2003 yet still has an active playerbase in 2021. The Jedi Knight series, composed of:
1. Star Wars Dark Forces
2. Star Wars Dark Forces 2
3. Star Wars Jedi Knight
4. Star Wars Mysteries of the Sith
5. Star Wars Jedi Outcast
6. Star Wars Jedi Academy
I suggest making a remasted Star Wars Jedi Academy that keeps the same lightsaber battle system (which is what people loved most about this game, it's still considered to have one of the best lightsaber combat system in all Star Wars games in 2021) and the same storyline but with improved grahpics and new game modes. In short, the remastered version would have.
-> The same lightsaber combat system.
-> HD Grahpics.
-> All 6 stories into one game.
-> Balancing the heavy lightsaber combat style (it was meant to do a lot of damage, but due to an exploit, moving the mouse quickly as you attack, this heavy lightsaber style attack can instantly kill an enemy, so it became the new meta)
-> Keeping the acrobatics and other jedi moves.
-> New game modes: Survival (both singleplayer and multiplayer)
-> New game mode: "Create Battle" just like the mod "Knights of the Force" had an option where you can literally add troops on the map and create your own levels, so could this one.
To keep things cannon, the Jedi Knight story could be intertwined with the Episodes 7 - 9 stories. For example, when Kyle retrives the plans for the Death Star, he would met with Rogue One team. Or when Kyle visists the Jedi Academy in Jedi Outcast & Jedi Academy, Ben Solo could be there as a Padawan. The events taking place after Episode 6 but before Episode 7.
The campaign stories: Remember Call of Duty 2's campaign where the character would be shown on the right side of the screen and you can select which campain you want to play on the left? I think this would be perfect for a remastered version of Jedi Academy that includes all 6 Jedi Knight campaign:
- Dark Forces - Playing as Kyle Katarn - He was preparing to be a farmer, but the Rebels killed his parents so he joins the imperials. After graduating and working for the Imperials, he discovers from a double agent Jan Ors that the Empire killed his parents. Eventually Kyle defected in order to rescue Jan after she was cought and arrested.
- Dark Forces 2 - Playing as Kyle Katarn
- Jedi Knight - Playing as Kyle Katarn
- Mysteries of the Sith - Playing as Mara Jade
- Jedi Outcast - Playing as Kyle Katarn
- Jedi Academy - Playing as Jaden Korr (the default lore version rather than costum character creation; where he starts with a purple lightsaber and later gets 2 blue ones after losing it)
Multiplayer. The multiplayer could be very similar to the original with some additions:
- Deathmatch (Free for All)
- Team Deathmatch
- Duel
- Power Duel (2 vs 1 but the 1 gets 150 HP)
- Capture the Flag (the classic)
- Siege (as it is in Jedi Academy currently, where players have roles with limited powers)
All servers could have the option: Include force powers yes/no; only lightsabers yes/no and a new option: jedi vs others: yes/no. If you pick yes on "jedi vs others" then the force powers and only lightsabers options get greyed out. When you join the server you can either pick a jedi or non-jedi character. As a jedi you have force powers but can only use the lightsaber. As a non-jedi you don't have force powers but can use any kind of weapon on the ground.
And some new game modes:
- Survival (both singleplayer and multiplayer; you have to survive for as long as possible while waves and waves of enemies, regular soldiers & jedi come to attack you)
- Double Duel (a 2vs2 duel mode)
- Jedi Master (1 player is the Jedi Master with master-level force powers, the other players are simple soldiers, the soldier that kills the Jedi Master becomes the Jedi Master)
- Conquest (Every team is made out of soldiers with only the best player in each team being able to be a Jedi/Sith. There are conquest points on the map, whoever captures more conquest points drains the points of the enemy team, the first team to reach 0 loses)
- Team Objective (Similar to Conquest & Siege; each team can pick from a number of classes with only the best player being able to be jedi/sith; the attacking team has attacking objectives while the defending team tries to stop them until the timer runs out).
And of course:
- An ELO ranking system.
- Tournaments (of Duel, Power Duel or Double Duel)
If done right, this game could become the new standard for Star Wars games, just like Jedi Academy was.

Hey @Akfiz those Star Wars games were not made by EA, as such if you would like to see remasters you would need to reach out to Disney.
