Re: Squadrons News | Journalists are Weak Sauce

★★ Guide

I feel like jackfrags presented the game well after his two hours of play time. It's going to get a cult following and if the crowd grows large enough I think you'll see extra content, or a sequel, start rolling out. It definitely doesn't look like my cup of tea, as I have always failed miserably at competently piloting ships like this. It doesn't matter what era the game is in or how simple it is I am constantly getting my fuzzy butt handed to me. I do, however, feel like the game is promising in that it seems to be capturing well the feel it's trying to put off. People who want another Rogue Squadron from the GameCube days are going to be impressed with this game, and for a very reasonable $39.99 launch price tag it's going to pull in a lot of players still on the fence.

Bottom line, I don't think this game will be earth shattering, but I do think it will succeed with the crowd it's attempting to appeal to, and could give birth to more MOTIVE developed Star Wars games in the future.

There are few things as satisfying as killing journalists and being mentioned in their article.
