So did they just do a random pick from BFplayer accounts or was there a signup cause if it was a signup they surely didn't promote it well haha.

@NetRngr You had to sign up to the PlayTesting portal, but other than that I don't believe the full criteria for selection is known. Going on the info at Battlefield.com it was a small group of participants.

In your own profile when you created your 'account' to volunteer for EA PlayTesting, there you actually answer to what time(s) of day and what day(s) of the week you typically are available for playtesting. If you confirmed your availability for this specific playtest, you normally also then have a specific final choice to make there across different available day/timeslots to choose between. As 'the seats are filling up', then these choices becomes of course in the end limited... But your initial profiling of yourself and your availability should still be respected no matter in the day/timeslot assigned to you.
