Slow Download Speeds on EA app [ Edited ]

So I downloaded the new EA desktop app when EA Play came to gamepass yesterday and I tried downloading NFS Heat. I was surprised to see the download speed was going from 400kb/s to 900kb/s. I checked on every other launcher like Epic Games, Steam and even on the xbox app/microsoft store and I was getting 6-10mb/s download speeds on those. Any solutions to fix EA's terrible download speeds. I can't find any anywhere because this app is only new.

Summarize your bug Slow download speeds only on my computer and not my friends (He's at my house)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open origin, download a game, look at the speed it is downloading at.
What happens when the bug occurs? The download speeds are limited to 12.5 Mb/s
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a download of 60Mb/s + since I have a 1000Mbp/s download speed.

My download speeds were stuck at 1.45Mb/s even though I have a 1000Mbp/s line, I created that EACore.ini file so origin launches in R&D Mode, and the speeds were bumped up to 12Mb/s. My friends are at my house and their pc's download at 80Mb/s. I also did a clean boot which made no difference to the download speeds, and Im downloading to a 1Tb nvme ssd drive.

I've bought new kat 6 ethernet cables, updated my bios and utilities, I've switched router ports and our ethernet cables. The only thing I could see it being is an issue with my firewall or a microsoft application limiting it, or maybe even a bios setting that I have no idea about.

My motherboard: ROG Crosshair VIII hero (WiFi)  If that helps

@gonzo26120 Just to confirm your bug report is in the right place. Are you having this issue with Origin client? There is a separate forum for Origin, you posted this at EA Desktop, the new beta client that is supposedly replacing Origin at some point in future.

2-3mb/s in 2021? I'd be dissapointed with this in 2003. Is this how it's going to be? Because if it is I won't be staying with your service. Anybody know if there is any way to improve it?

Whilst still fairly slow I'm getting around 10-13 MB/s. What game are you trying to download and have you checked to make sure everything on your home network/PC is running smoothly?

Im currently getting 400-900kbs tops whereas everywhere else i download games its 8mb/s

What happens when the bug occurs? The download speed gets really slow. I usually have around 20 Mbps but I'm only getting 1-2.
What do you expect to see? A faster, even normal download speed.

Everything else downloads at expected speeds (Steam etc) but EA Desktop is sitting at about 25% of that.

This week i got a new SSD and redownloaded my games:

GTAV | 30 Min -> ~100Gb

RDR2 | 40 Min -> ~120Gb

League | 5 Min -> ~7Gb

X-plane with all my addons and scenery | 2.5 Hours -> ~300Gb
