I've a gigabit connexion + SSD.

Preparing... downloading... downloading again but without speed (idk what is that)... installing...

1 hour for an 10gb update ! It's unacceptable.

Why is this topic marked as solved ? Issue has been present since the start of the beta.

EA its definitely on your end vpn to a different place and my download speed doubled if not tripled

I must download this app because origin give me message for passing at this platform.
I have downloaded it. 2 day of use, 2 game update, 2 time problems.

Starting whit an error when launch app every time "Impossible to connect to EA", then the app start without problems alone (mah), then when starts update the "preparation" fase is slow as a life, then start the download and it's stuck every second and re start at slow speed (max 200kb/s). This every second for all update. "Application update" fase slow...

I noted that in my tasks there is an "EA background service" task that use 100% my SSD for all time...

I already clean the cache, already re installed the app. It's a problem of your App!

Asking gamers to open ports and mess with their firewall isn't very good. Origin just worked. 

The download speed is rubbish, can't apply an update unless you leave the computer for a week, and also saying to stop all background applications is very poor service by EA. Lets just let the hackers have the game. BRING BACK ORIGIN!!!!!

Same here. The last Apex Legends Update (~300MB) needed an entire hour for me. On Origin that was a 2 minute thing...

I wanted to play battle field 2042 with my frien today (I bought ea play over Xbox Gamepass) but I needed to do an update and its now still preparing to download since about 50 minutes and its at 80% does somone knows asolution to that?

I am currently downloading Battlefield V for a couple of days now. I am so pissed of.

For me download works well for a few minutes, then it drops to 0. Literally zero, and I need to either pause and resume the download, or just to quit and open again the ea app.

On top of that, chat is ridiculously limited. You cannot open any link. You cannot copy any of the text inside the chat.

My friend was having issues with Apex Legends, it just didn˙t wanted to load the game.


I am waiting for BFV to be downloaded, will play it just out of curiosity as I haven˙t been playing this BF with M&K at all.

After I am deleting this crap of the software. How disrespectful to your own customers. How can some multibilionare company can create such a crap I don˙t know.
