Skill Based Matchmaking Season 18

I have been playing the game since launch and i fell in love with the game immediately. However, season 18 SBMM seems off to me. I have nothing but 3 stackers in my lobbies that have 20k plus kills. I used to be in games with average to a little above average players, but now it’s like a sweat fest and everyone is a pro at the game. Please fix SBMM.

@ErBodyLuvGav You’re above average and the matchmaking has been ramped up to ensure below average and average players are winning as frequently as you.

So please find solace in this.

100% SBMM is broken season 18!!!! Just played 50 games to get some idea as to is going on! I came across the number 1 horizon in 4 games, a 101k wraith, the number 1 and number 6 Pred last season!! has happened!

There is nothing wrong with having some players that are better in a game, but it seems like there are only people who are just cracked out of their minds. i only get into games with people that have over 20k kills with their main. it makes the game unenjoyable.

@ErBodyLuvGavMy first 10 matches solo queuing pubs Trios in S18 were a complete horror show - invulnerable murder bots flying around all over the place killing me so fast I didn't know what happened. Then it somehow changed and felt more like "normal", which is to say ~350 damage and 1-4 kills a game. Still no win yet, but every season seems to start that way for me. Last season I think I went 50 games before I got a W.

BTW, I consider myself average. KDR about 0.85 - 1.0 depending on how you look at it and a win rate around 4%.  Anybody complaining about their 2.0+ KDR or 15% win rate being low can suck it.

Have the same issue,  my highest badge is 2.5k ,  playing since season 1. Every match I die to preds  and players with 4k 20bomb,   current kdr is .54

Hard to say how many skill buckets we have now. It used to be five and they claim the new system has more but you couldn't prove it by me. I started the season with around 300-400 matches that I considered normal and reasonably balanced. Outliers here and there, but nothing outrageous. Then suddenly I woke up one morning as found myself in lobbies with players who had 155k kills on one legend. That lasted about two weeks. My refusal to participate probably bumped my mmr back down and now lobbies are mostly back to what I consider normal. But it was definitely not fun flirting with the Ritalin crowd. I can't imagine most players would be able to identify a sweaty lobby until it's too late, nor would be willing to treat one the way I treat them. But that was my solution and it worked.

I don’t know for sure, but the matchmaking is surely tight enough that I can continuously get match with the same teammates multiple games in a row— despite playing in heavily populated servers at peak times. 

Of course, this is entirely why I’m waiting 4-6 minutes for a match.

@ErBodyLuvGav I m losing 90-95% of my 1v1 . game thinks I m the top 20 pred.
it s not even a slight loss, no. I mgetting melted before I even crack their shield. Matchmaking is broken
