I have the same problem, but on a Mac. How do I clear the Origin cache on a Mac?

@Emmarshall81 Try the Origin reset tool; it's more thorough than just clearing Origin's cache.

Hi @EA_Darko
I have done all these steps and my game still won't launch. It's been broken like this since the latest update and EA help are just telling me to wait for next update to be released

I am still having this issue after following these steps.

I also have issues with this. Sims 4 won't even load because it shuts down so fast. I've had the issue before and while I was able to fix it, it required me relying on an IT tech because I was also told "wait for the next update." Except it does this after every update, I think because of the update, and makes it almost impossible to enjoy a game I've historically played to relax. Even my tech was baffled that this was an issue.
