Sims 3 - how do I see what add ons I own?

How can I see what add ons I have on a game?   I have purchased an add on that I dont believe I have previously purchased.   I admittedly bought it from a used book store, but it came with a code.    I went to put the code on my account and it stated that it was already used.    I dont believe I have the game already, and since I bought it, even though it is used, I should still be permitted to use the code.     How can I find out why it wont let me link the code to my account?   

The game I am referencing is Sims 3 Island Paradise.   I confirmed I typed the code in correctly.  As I mentioned, I dont believe I have already redeemed it.

Hey @txspeedbump71 if you have purchased the game second-hand and the code has already been redeemed then you will not be able to use it.

Product codes can only be redeemed to a single Origin account.
