Season 4 Ranked Split and Soft Reset - 24th of March [ Edited ]

Hello all my fellow Apexers. Was curious if the ranked Split is coming today. Nothing has been said by Respawn, no thread started by the mods. I know all this crazyness is going but lack of updates kind of sucks when we are all mostly stuck at home. No Twitter update, no forum update. It was my understanding that the new ranked Split was beginning today, if anyone has any info please pass it along! Thank you and remember wash your damn hands

The split is happening today. The Apex Legends team just Tweeted this recently: 

Gonna go ahead and sticky this since it might come as a surprise for some folks who aren't sure why their ranks have changed.

@powerlung What does a split mean?

I used to be gold II, now I'm at silver IV ?
Also it seems kinda bugged since it says gold II over my legend, but silver IV down at the left side...

@cobrastorm84 Damn, I actually feel bad for complaining after reading your comment. Anyhow, I was at level 3 silver, then I got a message about a Split point difference, and watched the system subtract 1500 points - that dropped me to Bronze 4 with zero points

@Koochi-Q I would guess it is this. You should have been dropped backwards today.
