Scuf controller or other 3rd party setups?

★★ Guide

Does anyone use a Scuf controller or another 3rd party  brand and does it help with your game play?

Only if you want to bunny hop and master 2-3 characters.

Smart triggers might help ever so slightly.

I intend to create a thread with comprehensive comparison between Scuf, Nacon, and Battle Beaver later this week/as soon as I have time.

I would not suggest using an upgraded controller.  I’m on PS4.

Yes scuf or third party controllers with paddles helps you.   They help you shoot when your jumping,  even tho you don't necessary NEED those for it (you can remap your the buttons on your default controller).  I use the other paddle for the Y button (xbox)  since that's another button I use often that makes me take my finger off of the aim stick.

If you have the means to get one (as they are pretty expensive) then go for it.   If you don't, then remapping your buttons can be just as effective once you get used to your new button layout. (Or playing claw can achieve the same results)

@OB1-The-Only-One  Spamming the jump button while you shoot.  Also - give that remapping a go and let us know how you like it. 😂
