Removing particle flash in .cfg file. Allowed?

★★★ Guide

So there was a tournament where they removed or lowered the flash from weapons in the .cfg file. and they where allowed to do that by Respawn. Does that mean that we are all allowed to do it without facing a possible ban? If Respawn says its ok, then it should be.

Streamers are playing the game with no muzzle flash and streamers have actually showed you how to remove it. The evidence is there to be seen anytime they stream, yet they are still playing....sooooo...is it allowed? maybe...going by the evidence...since they are streaming and showing everyone they have no muzzle day after day

What was the tournament?

How do you know Respawn knew about it and allowed it?

Ea and respawn have  100% tolerance to cheaters and bug abusers.

The official take is that this is not allowed, and may result in action being taken against an account that modifies game setting outside of the in-game settings menu.

So if you sunk a good amount into the game on skins, my personal advice is to refrain from doing it.

Well it was used on the tournament and is widely used by Pro players. Would love to get an official statement on it from someone at Respawn though. @Blueberry ? Standard smile

Details of why bans are issued are never released. I don't think it's wise to assume you can get away with something. Thinking

"Details of why bans are issued are never released" this is not wise at all!

Details regarding peoples bans should be released. So that some cases can be cleared up.

So is Respawn allowing some people to remove muzzle and manipulate their game, while others are banned for it? Or is it allowed for everyone?

They did allow it in an Tournament that was held, was that an exception from the regular rules everyone else has to follow? if so, why?

Would love to get a formal reply here to solve it. Standard smile
