Region Lock? Hopefully Not [ Edited ]

Hi

I'd like to know if this game is region locked, that means, players from one world region can't play together with players from other regions

for example you are in South America and you can't play with North America or Europe players, 

I ask this, because all region locked games have almost no players in my region and I can't find matches for coop or multiplayer

So, it would be great if this game is not region locked.

I dont think there will be region. We re living in 2018 , novadays the devs dont use it anymore except if its a fighting game. Region lock may helps for lags but its useless.
