Ranked Points

Points should be awarded for revives and respawns. It would motivate more team play, instead of teammates just running off and trying for placement points. Also, points should be based on total damage done, not just kills. IE: 100 damage equals 5 points. 
kilss are not the mark of a players skill. You can have 3 kills with less than 100 damage and earn points, but you can have 1k damage and 0 kills and get no points?

You want 5 points in ranked for 100 damage?
I can understand 1 point for 500 damage, but 5 for 100 is way too much.
But i can agree with you that they should give points also for damage.

usually you get points for assists.

Okay I know that it was an example but points for damage?

You want the Charge Rifle meta play (again)? No way most would care for dmg for points knowing what snipers (would) do. Especially in the larger maps.

1 point for every 1500 dmg or something can be acceptable and only with less than 2 assists or kills...

@SlivPTS You might get points for assists, but that’s only if the player is “killed”. I just feel there is a lot more to the game than kills and placement.
