RSP-Servers for 2042 [ Edited ]

Update1: JackFrags & LevelCapGaming have posted a video stating, "BF2042 servers would have persistent Banlist". It would be great if someone from EA/DICE could confirm it. @Straatford87  

Update2: We got have a confirmation from @PartWelsh (it was already public) that servers for BF2042 will have persistent Ban list, which looks promising, also it seems

folks at @EADICE are trying some New Ways, which may work out unexpectedly well (for e.g. following server creator). We are hopeful, positive & Excited. Also, the Reveal of BF2042 & BFPORTAL has pumped us all up, while we may have some feedback for the good Devs at DICE & Ripple Effect post public release, we also want to support the positive Waves that this game is creating. Without assuming things before we have even touched the game, we have decided to jump in full support for "Our Battlefield". This is the Year of Battlefield and we will together contribute in that Effort. 

Awesome Folks at DICE, Requesting your Kind Consideration 

as we desperately need, Servers Hosted in Indian Region & Rent a Server Program for Battlefield 2042, I am sure the entire Battlefield Community feels the same. 

We request entire Battlefield Community to "Click - Me Too" if you feel the request is justified. Also, We humbly request to be respectful to the Developers & other Players, while putting your comments/points. 

If its true that BF2042 Servers will be like "BFV Community games" then its a heart breaking news for Battlefield Communities. Please find some points below on why we need Rented Servers and not "Free Community Games like BFV". Biggest issues with BFV Free Community Games:

1. No BANLIST (Session only) -These are session only Servers and the session is active only till there are players. Once the session is down, It loses everything including "BAN LIST"

2. No Moderators - Moderators/Admins cannot be added to these servers, the one who hosts the server is the only admin, hence if the host is AFK, Cheaters destroy the server OR the host has to share credentials with other Admin (which actually goes against EA Policies)

3. No Add to Favorites/Bookmark Server Feature - Considering these are session only, servers cannot be added to favorites or bookmarked.

4. Not Stable - Free Community Servers in BFV continuously crash, our community hosts around 3 to 4 instances daily (for 6 months now), the servers crash multiple times in a single day. So far there hasn't been even one full day that Servers didn't crash. This is not the case with BF1 Servers which come at a Price, they are really good. BFV Community games crash because they are free, Nothing comes for Free and its is to be noted that BFV is doesn't even have a fraction of Player Base that we anticipate with Battlefield 2042. If you really want to keep things cheaper for the community, let's reduce the game Price but please give us Rent a Server Program, we don't want Free only Servers.

5. Servers don't have a stable identity. Anyone can simply create a server with with a Community's identity (any name) because its free. Players prefer custom servers as they are associated with the communities they trust. Also, if the host is not online, other players cannot fill up the server as the server doesn't exist, neither can other moderator manage as that doesn't exist.

Other optional Features that we don't stress to get but should be good to have
/VIP List
/Integration of Community Discord with Servers
/URL based Joining into Servers
/API access to create custom discord/other Bots

We are a Community of more than 3,300 active Battlefield Players from one single region and Strongly request DICE to consider RSP as well as servers in our region (India)

As told by Just Wiebe, BF2042 will not have Rent a Server Program, in fact "Servers for BF2042 will be exactly like BFV" i.e. Community Games only

Had no idea this was the case, but sadly if this is true it doesn't surprise me. I support and hope for RSP as well, but whether or not it comes to fruition I expect the quality of the Community servers to improve. It's one thing to have the occasional crash but 3-4 times a day strikes me as appalling. Fingers crossed that it was just growing pains with the first iteration and 2042's CS will be significantly more reliable.

Rent is Server Program is a must have for BF2042. The game looks great & Promising with its Multiplayer offerings, however all that cannot be truly utilized unless there is a Rent a Server Program in place. Also, for the Indian Region, now that we have thousands of players with current Battlefield and anticipating hundreds of thousands for BF2042, we desperately need Servers hosted in Indian Region @Straatford87

Really would like to see a free tier and premium tier for servers, where free tier is the one we get now, with free servers that shut down once the server gets empty, while premium tier is essentially paid servers that persists regardless. This would allow the community to favourite such persistent servers in server browser and build communities around them, which is the draw of community servers for a lot of people who ask for rental servers to start with.

Personally I also believe the reason community servers in battlefield V are relatively inactive compared to previous battlefields is because of the combination of no xp progression (luckily Portal will have xp progression this time around) and non-persistent servers.

So far they have said that rental servers aren't going to be thing at launch, but that they are looking into it because part of the community is very enthusiastic about it.

I'd choose RSP servers that provide stability and basic admin features stated above any day  instead of the "Free" BFV-like Community Servers that crash 10 times a day! Please listen to these communities EA/DICE.

@BFICommunity Well said BFINDIA. BFINDIA admins are working really hard to keep the servers active and hacker free by doing manual efforts.

Request you to please listen to the feedback and bring back the RSP program. Battlefield Developers are the only team which listens to players feedback and introduction of RSP like BF1 will help the community a lot.
