Ps4 aim assist bug?

Not sure if this is supposed to be like this, I have never noticed it before but if I smoke someone with bangalore and shoot at them I get no aim assist. The same thing was happening for my team mate in firing range when I smoked myself. I also noticed it by shooting out of one of the house windows closest to containment, the one closest to the 3 loot chests, where you sometimes find a purple shield on the ground between them.

@MikwinN11 Yep. No aim assist through smoke or windows. Always been this way I think.

Yeap i watched a video there is no aim assist through Caustic gas too.

Interesting. I don't know why im noticing it now. I can't say ive had a problem killing players through a window when im shooting them from outside. Seems bit silly to get aim assist outside the building but not from shooting inside

As stated above, however as bang smoke/caustic gas begin to dissipate aim assist returns despite both still being visible. It's deliberate mechanic otherwise they're rendered useless.

Which makes me wonder why they never just did that mirages old ult..
