@npgibbs problem there is that (realistically) a level 1 has a 0% chance of beating a level 50, unless either the level 50 let's them win (which wouldn't be deserving of a rank up) or the level 1 is just as skilled but hasn't played ranked in a while (equally undeserving of a rank up). This idea of reviewing the enemy player could lead to baiting (making yourself seem less skilled by having a low rank, and then demolishing mid-level players).

I never play ranked after reaching lvl 50 because there's no incentive once you reach ultimate league. The stars can't be used for anything.
