Pre-order Battlefield V for a friend

Will there be any option to pre-order Battlefield V for a friend? Right now I can only pre-order for myself.

Well if your friend uses the Same Region of Origin store as you do im think it may work.

I had a friend in Egypt and his currency did not allow him to buy BF1

He changed his Origin settings to Sweden and I was able to purchase it as a gift .

That Region thing might influence the "buy as gift" option as well, but also as EA_Darko mentioned i guess it just get's available if we come closer to the release date.
