Pre-download for Pre-orders?

Why aren't we able to pre-download games?
I pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront, but couldn't start downloading until the game was released, and mysteriously I couldn't even get the download to work last night at midnight, or this morning before work, and now that it finally worked, it's at such a slow pace I may not get to play it tonight either.
Next time why don't you let customers download 98% of the game, and pause the download so we can simply finish when it is released?

Also I find it insulting that the game is now being offered $10 cheaper on some online locations.  I would think the pre-order customers would be treated better.

I have the same Question. im trying to pre download swb2 and it wont work, it said pre download 10. of nov. and when I logged inn it just said Windows: 14 November 2017 00:00 CET
