@CompleatBeet That is a very interesting concept.
I don't know if it would make it less frustrating. After all, teammates usually stay together and a zombie would have a hard time trying to escape with 1 HP.

How about other improvements:

 

Captain Deadbeard: 

Don't allow the barrel to be broken  (90% of the time the barrel is worthless)

 

Electric Slide:

Gravity Grenade make it sticky (otherwise, 90% worthless; you can jump through it)

Outof Fight should be fast like lightning; or deadly like electricity (Otherwise, 75% useless, too slow)

 

Night Cap:

You gave the Super Brains more power but nothing for the nightcap.

Invisibility should truly be invisible or make damage zero.

 

Rose:

Don't Slow the Arcane Enigma when shot.

 

Overall:

FIX THE FRAME RATE;  It gets so slow that sometime I don't know I am dead yet!

BALANCE the Teams Better in Team Vanquish

Fire/Bomb and forget should actually explode and K'O something; even if you are already K'Od

 

Fix the bugs: Nothing more annoying than a game crashing or Disconnected by Host!

 

Soldier:

The shots are not smooth like the Imp; they stutter:  FIX THIS

@MorbidBEARBOY You have some nice ideas, however some, such as the impenetrable barrel are pretty game breaking and will make the character overpowered. I'll add the very awesome ones to the list.

@MorbidBEARBOY I do think the Barrel Blast needs a buff, but it will have to fit Captain Deadbeard's role as a defensive character.

 

I'll use some of your ideas to find a conclusion.
