Online login is currently unavailable

So I was trying to play some games with friends and when I went into Origins it says online login is currently unavailable. I can still play games, but can't access the menus to invite friends. Is there a fix to this?

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @greencam123.

When this issue occurs you can fix it if you take a couple of minutes to go through the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
• If still unresolved, please do a clean boot
