Warframe wasn’t the game it is now at launch either, not even close. It was much more stable, though.

Personally, I don't care how games "were at launch" but "how they are now", I wont wait for every game released to be stable 3 years later.

But you will compare the state of one 4 years post launch to one within 3 weeks of launch?

The comparison to Warframe makes no sense.  It is a free to play game.  It costs nothing to try.  Therefore, the acceptability range of it's launch state is vastly different to a game that requires you to pony up $60 or an EA subscription.

Should they expect it maybe 50% bug free then?.

you need to face facts, the game was broken at launch.  people expect bugs, they'll always be there, but it should never have been released in the state it was in.

for 6 years in development, yes people definitely have the right to expect more.

Gamers are what encourages change, vocally stating what is wrong with the game and what needs to change, and how it's disappointing, makes developers look at the game and realise, too many people are unhappy with the state

fanboys though, they are what staggers change, they are a what's wrong with gaming communities, just agreeing and defending and accepting, because they don't want to speak out or refuse to acknowledge major flaws in a game and don't like anybody else criticising what they believe to be, a great game.

The game was Broken on launch and still is, not buggy but Broken. it was lazy developing, again 6 years and it was released with 3 strongholds and one of them was just the end mission, simply because they could not be bothered to make anything unique  and another was a a replica of another mission but with added shields.

They couldn't be bothered to do a stat view, they couldn't be bothered to do a proper consumable screen, just everything thrown in, they couldn't be bothered to do proper end game contents, so literary re-hashed 2 bosses, and made the difficulty setting just health multipliers.

you may want to excuse them for being lazy, but the rest won't, they are established game makers and did no research, they are not new to the game, they should have known better

6 years of development, game still requires a 300 item patch three weeks after launch lol

Anthem is missing a ton of features that "those other" games had to learn to add in or tune over time. Bioware has no excuse for most of them. When something as simple as map waypoints gets added to the game, you wont hear any thanks and praise from me. I will still be asking why that feature wasnt present in the game on day 1.

This guy trying to pretend like that isn’t normal for MMOs. Lmao. Trolls be dumb, yo. The only thing different here is most games take longer than three weeks to start rolling out the patches.

That's the one sliver lining that get from this hate train for anthem...at least Warframe is getting more attention and comparisons to other games now hehe. I'm a fan of Warframe and have shown my support for over five years now. If I believed everything that was said about Warframe back before playing it and after trying it I would've missed out on a awesome game. Anthem runs great on my PC on max settings. Ive only had the audio bug twice and of course the free play bug. That's already a better start for me then Warframe so I think I will stick around and see what happens with Anthem hehe.

Exactly, features that exists since Everquest are still missing in a 2019 game, that's been in development for 6 games.

They knew that this game wont compete with their games, like AT ALL, it's so obvious haha

Why won't it compete?

I'm having a blast playing Anthem and I pre-ordered Division 2. (2500 hours in Division 1).

Anthem's  launch reminds me of The Division 1's launch.  BioWare will sort things out.

People can play more than one game.

Borderlands is coming, it will be hard for it compete and most people don't have the time to play more than one game, they have studies, responsibilities, families...etc
