Hello!
I have spent the last week on this and I cannot figure it out.
All Orgin games open to a dark load screen for a couple of seconds and then quits with no error. This happens with all Orgin games.
Scenario:
- Bought and installed a new RTX 3080 Ti (upgraded from RX 580)
- DDU'd and Performed a clean install of windows (not my gaming HDD, so none of them were touched, including launchers.
- PC booted fine, all drivers installed and updated. The only thing that doesn't work is Origin games.
- Origin opens OK. I have installed Battlefield V and Battlefront 2. Both open to their dark loading screen for 3-7 seconds and then disappear and the Origin window reappears. No error messages.
- I tried Uninstalling the games and Origin (performed full uninstalls and wiped all contents from program files, etc.)
- Ran CCleaner after uninstall, rebooted.
- Reinstalled Origin and game, still same issue.
- Formatted both my HDDs (Windows and gaming) and did another fresh Windows install on a clean disk, next to another clean disk.
- Everything installs ok, all drivers and software up to date.
- Games downloading though Steam, Uplay, Battle.net etc ALL WORK.
- ALL Games download through Origin DO NOT WORK. They all open and close within seconds with no error message.
- I also tried wiping Origin and tried through EA play, still the same issue.
Have also tried already:
- Clean Boot
- Clear Origin cache
- CCleaner
None of these worked.
Setup:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600x
GPU: ASUS Rog Strix RTX 3080 Ti
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 32gb
OS: Windows 10 Pro

Hey @EldaW0lf,
Thanks for the information you've provided, it looks like you've tried everything + more of what I was going to mention.
Have you tried the EA Desktop App? Do you have the same issue there?
If you haven't tried it, you can download it here:
https://www.ea.com/ea-app-beta
Try downloading a game there, launching it, and see if you run into the same problems.
Thanks

Hey @EldaW0lf can you grab me a DxDiag so I can take a look at your system: https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

Hey @iluminatethesky
I tried that too and sadly I get the same result. EA just says "unresolvable error"
Thanks for reaching out though!

I have attached the DxDiag info. Thank you for reaching out!
I'm sorry for the late response, I haven't been able to get back on my PC until now.

Hey @EldaW0lf,
Sorry to hear that didn't work out for you either.
Hopefully Darko can find out what the issue is with the DxDiag you've provided.
Thank you

Hey @EldaW0lf you would need to share the full DxDiag which you can get if you follow the steps in the link I shared above.

Hey @EldaW0lf based on your DxDiag the best thing to do is go ahead and run System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files:https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-o...
Let us know how you get on.
