First post, so hello everyone! 🙋♀️
I got the sims 4 for free and I bought two expansions online from a retailer, both expansions for EU and UK zones with English support.
My system is in English, my browser is in English, my EA App is in English. However I'm visiting family in Poland.
I downloaded the sims 4 and it turned out to be in Czech. 😯
I reached out to the support.
They told me to uninstall the game, so I did.
Then they said they've done some changes to the back-end, removed Czech license and added English, and that I should try again.
I clicked download, the only languages available are Czech, Polish, Russian.
I asked them again, they said, reinstall EA App. I did reinstall EA App. Still no English in selectio after clicking download.
I uninstalled the app, removed from my system registry everything related to EA App, Electronic Arts and Sims.
I installed the app still the same problem.
I reached to the support again, they said they will report a bug and that they can't even tell me a maximum time it can take to get an update, all I can do is wait. 🤔
I paid for those games, I think EA should come up with some ground rules for how long they can take max to respond to such issue, otherwise they just took the money, and are saying wait till we're ready however long that might be, which is kind of mean. 🤨
Does any of you know some hack or workaround to actually enable English?
I don't want to download the game from unnoficial source due to security and privacy risks.
I'd appreciate any input or information.
