New patch makes the game even more toxic

So having now played quite a few games with the new patch (season2) it seems that the chance to get a rank has made the community even more toxic than the way it was already heading ... we already had problems with the game .. mainly starting with 2 chars that move faster than all other chars meaning that at least 1 person in a team will be left behind getting all the crap that the other 2 dont want . as well as being called rude names for not being there when the 2 fast runners run into trouble and die and then complain that 'u were not there' to help them, they then abuse u for being slow .. of course forgetting the fact they took all the gear and left u with nothing ,,, now we have a ranking system where instead of slowing players down a bit to play the survival side of the game they seem to think they need to run faster to get more kills to rank more (perhaps making people aware this isnt dirty bomb or similar game) ,,,   Well done guys,way to make a game worse .. although was a good try to improve it just not enough forethought  :'(

Hey @Rodent31, sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the game. I assume that based on your post the game in question is APEX Legends.

If you are in in-game and another user is abusive then please report them by following the steps in this link: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/report-players-for-cheating-abuse-and-harassment/

We take all reports very seriously and will fully investigate.
