I think they should consider level the playing field of weapons in general get rid of spread / bloom whatever people want to say and just balance weapons in the more traditional way, there is too much going on w 120 players to not let it be where you aim and shoot is where it is going,

@vXRDXv I get the problem you have with tankers camping on the edge of the map, but in all honesty the problems that this OP sniper rifle causes does not warrant your reasoning in my eyes.
Playing breakthrough, if there is like 2-3 people on the other team using that it renders using any vehicle to push into an objective utterly useless, they need to nerf that thing into the dam ground. I get its uses vs light armoured, but taking out full tanks with 3-4 shots is just utterly ridiculous.
I get its an \"anti material rifle\" but theres a reason why they invented rocket launchers and anti tank mines, cause anti material rifles were useless vs medium to heavy tanks since 1943...

The NTW looks powerful until you try getting enough hits yourself with its low velocity.
The time it takes for a tank to get 4 shots is so long that it should be at cover way earlier, used repairs and be a in a state tot take even more shots
If it is 3+ people committed to take out a tank, then this means that it is time for a difference approach to the objective, perhaps something that is faster and harder to hit.
I have not even used it for a week because I am not satisfied with how it performs as something that take up the main weapon slot and also makes you play in ways that make you a target for every camping sniper with a DXR-1 as well as any enemy who gets close with a more versatile weapon

Same goes for the regular ammos on this weapon, that holds 5, then when you reload it only loads up to 4 and not 5, which makes you reload ANOTHER time yet again, to hold 5 bullets in your mag.
Haven't noticed this on any other kind of weapons other then sniper weapons up to 5 bullet mags.
NERF ISSUE!
Now that the NTW-50 Anti-Material High-Power ammo only holds 4 bullets, instead of 5, and when reloading only holds 3, cross that with the nerf against vehicles, armored vehicles etc, which they in turn recive MUCH less damage from the NTW-50, so it takes about 12,5 bullets to kill a tank, unless the tanks has self repair.
So that means, if you don't miss, starting ammo 4 bullets, reload 3 bullets, reload 3 bullets, reload 3 bullets for an accual kill if nobody else damages the tank. That's a total of 3 reload times, + the chamber time for each bullet, plus the fact that once you hit a tank, they IMMIDIEATLY know where you are shooting from and where you are, so for the remainder of the 11,5 bullets you need to hit the tank with, you also got to deal with surviving the retaliation from the tank and tanks, vehicles, infantry and all aircrafts.
How is THAT even close to \"fixing\" an overpower gun? It's closer to making it into a joke. The sniper rifle it self, from a long distance, still require 2 bullets to kill someone, unless Headshot.
So now, it's just for decoration????
It's use is absolutley a joke, consider the fact that it takes 6 RPG to kill a single tank, but their loadouts is just 3....makes sense, or the fact it takes a FULL LOUDOUT+Time of C5 to kill a tank, if you get close enough...makes NO sense either.
If ANYTHING is OVERPOWERED, it's the three transport vehicles and the 3 armored tanks.
I mean, if there where windows to kill the inside people, it woulden't be that bad, but having Tanks, camping across the map, with NO way to get close to disable them...Sign up for the carnage while trying to kill that one tank....With NTW-50 it takes me about 16 Spawns, to kill just 1 and the same tank, from diffrent positions etc.
They just one shot me after the first bullets, and not just 1 player, all players playing tanks, hovercrafts, wildcats etc.
The balance between infantry and mechanical things are UNBALANCED.
If extra armor peircing bullets are useless against tanks, AND does less damage to infantry...which to be honest, would rip a hole in their torso, or rip of their entire limb if hit, but it just makes a fleshwound...then why do we still have it?
If people can't handle BF2042 without the armor and power of a tank to seize, capture, camp, then what's the point?
Make so that EVERYONE can have tanks then, so fair is fair. Cause the game is less and less natural, realistic.
I mean, the night bird, apache, super hokum, phantom and felon and tanks, doesen't have to even go reload, refuel. Practiclly just a carnage machine. Makes NO sense, to offset the ONE weapon, that can turn the tide vs 5 camping tanks.
Bring BACK the defensive weapon NTW-50 as intended! OR keep it, but make the bullets able to kill the driver, passanger and gunners, if hit on soft spots.
It was manageble try and kill A tank, with 6 bullets, when you had 5 in mag, reload into 4. It was douable. If a tank was on fire, it took 1 shot, the last shot to kill it.
But now, when a tank is on fire, it takes 3 shots, and that's your mag if you reloaded, so we can't even afford to miss or the tank go into hiding, but that's what they do, cause the reload time is insane, atop of low damage and extra low capacity in mag, since it doesen't fully reload. And to those says, \"it keeps one in the chamber\", no it does NOT! Got plenty of hours on twitch showing that it doesen't.
The NTW-50 is now a close combat sniper rifle, that is 1-shot for infantry, that's it. No use against any form of vehicles. And which sniper, goes full close combat with a SNIPER RIFLE???
Wounder when the vehicles will shoot unicorns and rainbows, so they don't kill anybody, and we can sit around on the beach, singing combaya.
But then again, since BF still lets snipers scoping with a 5 million lumen spot light, then I guess I won't hold my breath. It's not like it was 40 years ago, that snipers started training to hide them selves and the glare of the scope, but hey, let's give them THE MOST POWERFULL SPOTLIGHT IN HISTORY! (Damn, even shows in a completley dark room, if you scope.)
Anyway, the NTW-50 has been completley rendered useless, it fills NO function in the game anymore, unless it's still there for LAST HIT use, which then will just * people off, for beeing riped of their hard earned kill, to a last hitter, alot like AA missiles are now.
The USE of NTW-50 is clear, damage those players with armor, and vehicles. It's the ONLY thing that kept Hovercrafts, Bolte and LAT4V from running around at high speed, just thrasing down all and everyone on Conquest and breakthough, and rooftop call in.
If it continues, we could just look forward to next battle field, which conatins 1 flag, 2 sides, no terain, just flat surface. 1 side with 1 sniper, and 1 side with 200 000 tanks, it sure makes a fair game.
I would get that it stings, being destroyed across the map, but so does infantry from tanks and choppers and airplanes, but they ain't beeing nerfed. Hovering so high it can't be locked upon, or camping with tanks across the map, with no rockets to reach them. As a bonus, they won't need to recharge, reload ammo or refuel.
The same as infantry gets owned by tanks, all form of vehicles, so should vehicles be owned by NTW-50, to balance it all out. But it seems like some people just want to sit in a tank the entire game, not defending, not attacking, just killing for killings sake. Which isn't the use of it anyway, it's to turn the tide on capture points.

NTW-50 EXTREAMLY nerfed. Probably THE most nerfed weapon EVER created in the history of gaming.
Bring back NTW-50 ammo capacity, damage and fix the reload issue with sniper rifles.
The reload time is too slow, the bullet drop is way too low. Give me the Tankgewehr from bf1 any day.
